Every Heritage Inspection Services home inspection follows the TREC state standards. These include structural systems, mechanical systems, and appliances. Structural Systems inspected include the roof, foundation, and walls (interior and exterior). Every effort will be made to get up on the roof and to enter all accessible attic and crawlspace areas. Mechanical Systems inspected include electrical, heating and air conditioning, and plumbing. Appliances Systems inspections include functional testing of all built in appliances within accepted tolerances. Additional Services Provided Sprinkler System Inspections will check for appropriate check valve placement, total zones used, water pressure, and broken heads. Seperate Structure Inspection guest houses, garage apartments, workshops, outbuildings and barns.
Pre-Divorce Home Inspections - In the case of a divorce where one spouse keeps the home the homes value is almost exclusively determined by an appraisal. An appraisal is only one tool for home valuation and will not capture defects such as faulty wiring, foundation problems, and plumbing defects to name a few. This is why it is essential that a home inspection be performed. The home that appraises for $250,000 may contain a few hundred, a few thousand, or even tens of thousands of dollars worth of hidden defects.
